OCLC Reference Collection Development Module

This module is designed to provide OCLC member institutions with their own reference collection use data so that the institution's reference collection can be maintained in a up-to-date fashion with the latest and most useful resources.

In this module, each and every reference question is tracked by a Perl script so that it possible: (1) to see the question as typed by the user, (2) the subsequent pages selected, and (3) the resulting conclusion. The program sorts the queries by the most frequently recommended source, the second most frequent, and so on. Please note that the data displayed respects the confidential nature of the reference transaction, so that it is not possible in this reporting module to determine who actually aske d the question.
